Born in real life as Edward Ansah, Bubu Maani, the self-acclaimed King Of Fante Pop who also tags himself the "Bhad Guy" gained mileage from his ´´M´ata Bui´´ song in early days of his career. This song shot him to regional fame and made him the darling of T´adi (Takoradi) rap.Bubu Maani started rapping at age 14, and he continued to rap throughout his teenage while he kept his rap faith alive hoping to become a musical star one day. Again, Bubu Maani (as known by most of his fans) gained foothold when he released his ´´Born One´´ single in 2014 which went viral on the music scenes in Sekondi-Takoradi and beyond.Moreover, Bubu Maani prides himself on winning two rap competitions (i.e Radio Shama Kasahare Battle and the Golden City Contest) in his early days which were both held in Tarkwa.
